Carmen is a Bay Area-based creative, author, speech-language pathologist, and founder of Indiris LLC. She was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, and holds a PhD in Integrated Health Sciences. Her podcasting journey began as an academic project but quickly transformed into a passion for storytelling, laughter, and capturing the beauty of real-life conversations.
What started with Sit & Sip with SLPs evolved into something more personal. Carmen realized she didn’t just want to talk about work…she wanted space to process the random thoughts, the quiet lessons, the messy middle. That’s when Where Did I Put My Glasses? Was born. As the conversations expanded, so did the format. Carmen began inviting guests, eventually welcoming recurring co-hosts who helped her explore topics that felt both personal and universal.
